Adding to the pile...

A couple of weeks ago I found out about a little out of the way hobby store an hour from where I live.  I was in the area this past week and was able to stop by.  I was a disappointed with the miniatures selection.  The store contained mostly comics, boardgames, basic hobby supplies, and lots of trading card games.  However, just as I was about to leave I stumbled onto a rack in the back of the store containing random blister packs of minis.  They were all different companies and time periods but in the end I found two that I may be able to use.  And did I mention they were on clearance.

The first pack is just some sheep and a farmer.  I figure for my campaign I'll need to start collecting more civilian figures and animals.  The second pack are Celtic archers.  I've always liked archer units and plan on perhaps using them in my campaign as a mercenary band that Harlin hires or fights.

  1. Very nice. I keep telling myself that I need to get some civilians onto my table as well. Looking forward to seeing how they all look painted up, and to how they work their way into Harlin's adventures.

  2. Nice - I found that I really lacked for civilians and livestock as they are critical objectives in Dark Ages games

  5. Cool! I maybe need to give the local game stores another try. My main problem is I'm trying to game in a weird scale and I'm not into the latest behemoth gaming company stuff.
