Campaign - Harlin's Camp

As I am sure most of you who read this blog know, real life will occasionally rear its ugly head and keep you from the hobby for a while.  However, I finally did get a little chance to do something hobby related these past two evenings.

A while back I mentioned wanting to create a small camp site to add a bit of flavor into my campaign.  I got some good feedback and even tried to make my own which ended very badly.  So on recommendation from Paul of the Man Cave I purchased some plastic tents and a small fire pit made by Renedra which were exactly what I was looking for.  So while slowly trying to paint some more figures I painted up a couple tents and the fire pit.

If you remember we last left Harlin and Assur in my Dark Age Fantasy Campaign after they had just had some revenge.  At the end of the small skirmish they wounded another slave named Dago and offered him his freedom to join them.  The three then escaped into the wilds surrounding Greybridge to set up camp and tend to Dago's wound.

I was finally able to locate the small band of former slaves in the wilds and it looks like they have set up a small camp site in the woods.  Also Dago's wound seems to have healed nicely.

  1. Looks like a good base to pillage from. No shame in buying terrain. Some things just don't work out when you try to do it yourself. I have a lot of unfinished trees rivers and hills I should get cracking on.

  2. Yes, like Sean said, no shame in it at all. You've certainly got a far better record for terrain building than I have and I'm the cop-out king when it comes to buying terrain and glass houses, so I'll be throwing no stones. :)

Nice job painting them! Sounds like the heroes are about set for a new adventure soon -- can't wait to read about it!

  4. Glad you liked my recommendation and what they have provided your gaming table.

Also pleased to hear Dago's wound didn't fester and that the Lads are ready for more adventures!
